Beliefs of Jesus is Love Church, Cardiff
The Triune God: We believe in one God, eternal and almighty, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of heaven and earth, who was, is, and will be forever. God is holy, just, loving, omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. He sovereignly rules over all creation and performs miracles according to His divine will.
Jesus Christ: We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, our Lord and Saviour. He is fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross to redeem us, rose again on the third day, and now sits at the right hand of the Father as our intercessor.
The Holy Spirit: We believe in the Holy Spirit, who dwells in believers and enables them to live in holiness, understand God’s Word, and accomplish His work on earth. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, Guide, and Source of spiritual power.
The Bible: We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, inspired, infallible, and the supreme authority in faith, doctrine, and conduct. Through it, God reveals His plan of salvation and guides our Christian life.
The Church: We believe in the Church as the body of Christ, made up of all born-again believers. It is called to be a light in the world, to proclaim the Gospel, and to build up in unity and love.
Salvation: We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not by works but through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, which paid for our sins and reconciled us to the Father.
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion): We believe in water baptism as an act of obedience and public testimony of faith, and in the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of Christ’s death and resurrection.
The Second Coming of Christ: We believe that Jesus will return in glory to establish His eternal kingdom. We eagerly await His return, which will bring justice and the final restoration of all things.
Eternal Life: We believe in eternal life for those who accept Christ as their Saviour and eternal separation from God for those who reject His grace.
The Kingdom of God: We believe in the kingdom of God as both a present and future reality, where God reigns in the hearts of believers and will be fully established at Christ’s second coming.
· Dios Trino Creemos en un solo Dios, eterno y todopoderoso, quien es Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo. Él es el Creador del cielo y de la tierra, quien fue, quien es y quien será por los siglos de los siglos. Dios es santo, justo, lleno de amor, omnipotente, omnipresente y omnisciente. Él gobierna con soberanía sobre toda la creación y hace milagros en su voluntad divina.

· La Iglesia Creemos en la Iglesia como el cuerpo de Cristo, formada por todos los creyentes nacidos de nuevo. Es llamada a ser luz en el mundo, a proclamar el evangelio y a edificar en unidad y amor.
· La Salvación Creemos que la salvación es un regalo de gracia de Dios, recibido por medio de la fe en Jesucristo. No es por obras, sino por el sacrificio de Cristo en la cruz, quien pagó por nuestros pecados y nos reconcilió con el Padre.
· El Bautismo y la Cena del Señor Creemos en el bautismo en agua como un acto de obediencia y testimonio público de fe, y en la Cena del Señor como un recordatorio de la muerte y resurrección de Cristo.
· La Segunda Venida de Cristo Creemos que Jesús volverá en gloria para establecer Su reino eterno. Esperamos con anhelo Su regreso, que traerá justicia y la restauración final de todas las cosas.
· La Vida Eterna Creemos en la vida eterna para aquellos que aceptan a Cristo como su Salvador y en la separación eterna de Dios para aquellos que rechazan Su gracia.
· El Reino de Dios Creemos en el reino de Dios como un reino presente y futuro, donde Dios gobierna en los corazones de los creyentes y será plenamente establecido en la segunda venida de Cristo.
